Why does Efamol use the Rigel® Evening Primrose Oil?

Seeds from wild varieties of Evening Primrose will vary from crop to crop in the quantity and quality of Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), an essential fatty acid. Hence, the wild plant cannot be relied upon for a consistent quantity or quality of oil. There are over 2000 species of Evening Primrose. Efamol Pure Evening Primrose Oil contains oil from Rigel® seeds which contain up to 33% more GLA than found in wild plants.
